Those are driving distance from me (80 minutes each way). I wonder if this means that the photo isn't of the actual speakers? "Horns are mounted inside the box unlike the photos." Also, wonder where they got the specs from--seem a little off?
"Frequency Response: 35-22,000cps" Regardless, they're open to reasonable offers (and "have quite a history") so it's tempting but not sure where I'd put them--I need speakers for my garage but these might be overkill......

Shame they did not post a price. Another craigslist abuser.

80 min? So, then what you mean to say instead is "I need a garage, for my new speakers" ;-)

I did a nominally 1:45 each way to the Baltimore area recently to check some stuff out. That was fine, and I was ok with gambling on them and forfeiting the gas $. What I failed to account for were the $15-$20 in tolls on top of that incurred by the fiefdoms of DE and MD. I don't even think they were associated with any particular bridge(s). I'd've not bothered had I known/remembered.

Reasonable price to what standard? If he's basing his reasonable price on prices paid on ebay for the Asian export market, I wouldn't bother.

C'mon guys. If I were local or close, and I wanted a pair, what do you have to lose by contacting the seller and giving it a go? I wound up with my big VOTT's after they had more or less been advertised for sale on AK for 18 months. Desire, persistence, a bunch of legwork and a little cash is all it takes.....

Buffalo is kinda like the South Bronx of upstate. In fact it makes the real South Bronx seem fairly tame.

i would like to know why folks think a-7's are big...yeah they're not bookshelf speakers , but a 30 inch baffle is minimum aint it? they're not that much bigger than a model 19 right? that's a nice plywood set in the pic, and quality woofers..albeit a repaint.
